KL Rahul viral video: Team India's out-of-favor batter KL Rahul offered prayers at Sri Durga Parameshwari Temple in Karnataka's Mangaluru. The star middle-order batter is expected to make his India comeback soon.

The men's national cricket team is slated to tour Sri Lanka for a white-ball series, comprising three T20Is and as many ODIs. Rahul, who has been out of the team for a while, is expected to be picked in India's ODI squad for the tour. There are also speculations that Rahul will lead the ODI team against Sri Lanka.

KL Rahul was in incredible form during the 2023 ODI World Cup. However, since then, he hasn’t played many matches, apart from the South Africa tour.

Just like KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, who has also been out of the Indian team for a long time, might return to India's ODI setup for Sri Lanka tour. Captain Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, who have retired from T20Is, might also be part of the ODI series. BCCI Secretary Jay Shah has already made it clear that Rohit Sharma will be lead the Indian team in 2025 ICC Champions Trophy.

Notably, India's tour to Sri Lanka will be new head coach Gautam Gambhir's first assignment with the national team.
