IND vs SL Final: Smriti Mandhana Joins Elite Club With 11th ODI Ton

This was Smriti Mandhana's first ODI century against Sri Lanka, pushing her tally against them past 600 runs.

The final of the Women's Tri-Series between India and Sri Lanka is underway at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, and Indian opener Smriti Mandhana has stolen the spotlight with a brilliant century.

After winning the toss, India chose to bat first. Mandhana, opening with Pratik Raval (30), began cautiously as the duo managed just 14 runs in the first five overs. However, they soon shifted gears, building a solid 70-run partnership before Raval's dismissal.

Mandhana then found a strong partner in Harleen Deol, and the pair stitched together a century stand for the second wicket. Mandhana became more aggressive after reaching her half-century, punishing the bowlers with precision and timing.

Third-most centuries in Women's ODIs

Smriti Mandhana's (116 runs of 101 balls) knock marked her 11th century in One Day Internationals, making her only the third woman in the world to achieve this feat. She now trails just Meg Lanning (15) of Australia and Suzie Bates (13) of New Zealand in the all-time list.

This was also Mandhana's first ODI century against Sri Lanka, pushing her tally against them past 600 runs. The left-hander now has 4,450 runs in 102 ODIs at an average of over 46, including 31 fifties.

List of players with most centuries in Women's ODI history (as of May 2025):

Meg Lanning (Australia): 15 centuries, 103 matches

Suzie Bates (New Zealand): 13 centuries, 168 matches

Smriti Mandhana (India): 11 centuries, 102 matches
