IND A vs PAK A Final 1st Innings HIGHLIGHTS: Tayyab Tahir's Superb Hundred has taken Pakistan A to a formidable first-innings total.

IND A vs PAK A Final 1st Innings HIGHLIGHTS: After India A won the toss and elected to field first, Pakistan A put on a rather strong show with the bat at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo as they managed to post 352/8. Tayyab Tahir was their star with the bat as he scored as he scored a sensational hundred eventually getting out for 108 off 71 deliveries. Sahibzada Farhan (65) and Saim Ayub (59) first started off things on a positive note for Pakistan A as they completed their respective half-centuries to put on a 121-run stand.

However, post that there was a bit of a collapse from Pakitan A as they went from 121/0 to 187/5. It was from there that Tahir came to Pakistan A's rescue. The right-handed batter used a counterattacking approach and took on the opposition bowlers, producing some fierce and clean strikes. His innings was studded with a dozen boundaries and four massive sixes. Riyan Parag (2/24) who produced a double-wicket over and Rajvardhan Hangargekar (2/48) were the pick of the bowlers for the Yash Dhull-led side.

Other than the opening stand, the one partnership which really changed things for Pakistan A was the sixth-wicket stand between Tayyab Tahir and Mubasir Khan the latter of which played a perfect second fiddle with Tayyab playing the role of the aggressor. Mubasir scored 35 off 47. Omair Yousuf also scored a run-a-ball 35 and was the first of the two victims of Parag. The decision was a contentious one as Parag claimed that he had not caught the ball clean but the third umpire gave the decision in favour of India A.

Off the very next ball, which was a half-tracker from Parag, Qasim Akram tried to dispatch it over the on-side fence for a six but the ball went straight to the square-leg fielder. Towards the end, Mohammad Wasim (17* off 10) and Mehran Mumtaz (13 off 10) also played a part in taking Pakistan A past 350.
