India are taking on Hong Kong in their second and final Group A encounter of the Asia Cup 2022 with an eye on the Super 4 stage. Men In Blue in the opening match defeated arch-rivals Pakistan by five wickets in a last-over thriller. 

After a hard-earned victory over Green Shirts, scripted by Hardik Pandya, India's focus in the match against minnows will be on batters.

KL Rahul, whose first T20I in 2022 was against Pakistan on Sunday, would want to come out all guns blazing and may take this opportunity to try an alternate batting approach at the onset, compared to what has been his style at the IPL.

Skipper Rohit Sharma has made it clear, keeping T20 World Cup in focus, that experiments in playing XI will continue. After a subdued game against Pakistan, Rohit himself would like to deposit a few into the stands. Virat Kohli will try to strengthen his rhythm against a lack-lustre attack of Hong Kong. It would be interesting to see if Rishabh Pant is tried in place of Dinesh Karthik against Hong Kong.

Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravi Bishnoi could also get a look in the playing XI, letting Yuzvendra Chahal and Ravindra Jadeja cool their heels a bit.
