Arshdeep Singh is currently India's second-highest wicket-taker in T20 Internationals, with 95 wickets to his name. With just five more scalps, he will become the first Indian bowler to reach 100 wickets in the format. He requires only two wickets to surpass Yuzvendra Chahal and become India's all-time leading wicket-taker in T20Is.

Arshdeep Singh's remarkable performances in 2024

Arshdeep enjoyed a stellar 2024, ending the year as India's leading wicket-taker in T20 Internationals with 35 dismissals. His brilliance extended to the 2024 T20 World Cup, where he was the joint highest wicket-taker, claiming 17 wickets alongside Afghanistan's Fazalhaq Farooqui.

Potential spot in India's ICC Champions Trophy squad

Arshdeep Singh is expected to be among the key fast bowlers being considered for India's squad for ICC Champions Trophy 2025. Along with Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj, Arshdeep is expected to form the backbone of India'ss pace attack.

However, only two of these pacers are likely to feature in the playing XI, with Hardik Pandya filling the role of the third seamer. Mohammed Shami's inclusion will depend on his fitness status.
