Yashasvi Jaiswal displayed remarkable batting prowess by hitting three consecutive sixes off James Anderson's deliveries in the 85th over of India's second innings during the ongoing India vs England 3rd Test. This match is part of the five-match Test series between India and England, taking place at Rajkot on February 18 (Sunday). Anderson, widely regarded as one of the greatest bowlers in the history of Test cricket, faced an onslaught as Jaiswal dominated with aggressive strokes all around the park.
The left-hander exhibited a style of play that many are now referring to as 'JazBall,' drawing parallels to 'BazBall,' which characterises England's new aggressive Test playing style under the coaching of Brendon McCullum and the captaincy of Ben Stokes. The dynamic left-handed showcased his prowess by treating one of the greatest Test bowlers as if he is a club-level bowler.
On Day 4 of the ongoing IND vs ENG 3rd Test, with a score of 159, the opener exuded confidence at the crease. In an attempt to dismiss the batter, Ben Stokes opted to bring James Anderson into the bowling attack. Yashasvi Jaiswal, displaying the same approach as the previous day, chose to confront the pacer. Swinging at the first delivery, he missed as Anderson delivered a wide ball, following Jaiswal's shuffling movement.

On the following delivery, the 41-year-old pacer over-compensated with a full toss, and Jaiswal capitalised by sweeping it over deep square leg for a six. Undeterred by Anderson's attempt to keep the ball away, the opener skillfully shuffled and struck a flat shot over deep extra cover. However, Jaiswal's aggressive display was far from over.
Under visible pressure, Anderson delivered a length ball outside the 6th stump. Jaiswal, displaying immense strokemaking, powered it over the top of the bowler's head for a third consecutive six, swiftly racing to a score of 177 in just four balls.
With India having a lead well beyond 500, Jaiswal accomplished his second double-hundred in Test cricket, achieving the feat off just 231 balls. His innings includes an impressive display of 10 sixes and 16 fours. India appear poised to take the lead in the currently levelled series, which stands at 1-1.
