IND vs BAN Kanpur Test, Day 4 Weather Forecast: Will There Be Any Rain Delays At Green Park Stadium On September 30?

IND vs BAN Kanpur Test, Day 4 Weather Forecast: As fans wonder if there will be any play possible on Day 4 of the India vs Bangladesh Test after two days of no play, here's Day 4's weather forecast.

India vs Bangladesh 2nd Test at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur has been a frustrating affair of rain delays. Since its start on September 27, only 35 overs of play have been possible, all on Day 1. While continuous rains on Day 2 made it impossible for any cricket to happen, Day 3 saw no rain and yet there was no play, due to the wet outfield. This leaves fans wondering whether there will be any play on Day 4 of the IND vs BAN Test on September 30 (Monday).

Having witnessed no play on Day 2 and Day 3 of the IND vs BAN Kanpur Test, fans can take a sigh of relief as Day 4 of the match is expected to have suitable weather for the play to resume, given there are no more delays due to the wet outfield at the stadium in Kanpur.

IND vs BAN Test Day 4 Weather Forecast

At 9:00 PM IST, the conditions at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur are forecasted to be mostly sunny as per AccuWeather, with zero percent of chance for rain and only 16% cloud cover.

At 9:30 AM IST, when the IND vs BAN Test is slated to continue, the weather is expected to remain similar, with no rains forecasted and the temperature to be around 28 degrees Celsius.

Similarly at 12:00 PM IST, AccuWeather forecasts the Kanpur weather to be mostly sunny with temperature around 31 degrees Celsius and cloud cover to drop from 16% to 13%. The humidity is expected to be at 75%.

For 3:00 PM IST, there isn’t much change in the weather forecast with the temperature expected to be around 33 degrees Celsius. However, the conditions are expected to turn sunny.

Abovementioned forecasts suggest that the IND vs BAN Test in Kanpur might see the play resuming barring no wet outfield delays, like on Day 3.

No Play On Day 3 Despite No Rain Leaves Fans Outraged

Interestingly, Day 3 did not even see any rain during the playing hours and yet there was no play possible, owing to the wet outfield. This has sparked concerns among cricket fans about the stadium’s inadequate drainage system. The umpires and match officials deemed the wet outfield at the Green Park stadium unsuitable for play to continue despite the conditions being the brightest of all days in the Test. There were inspections at 10:00 AM IST, 12:00 PM IST and then the final one at 2:00 PM IST when the day was called off despite the sun shining at Kanpur, leaving fans confused and outraged at the stadium's facilities.
