IND vs BAN, 2nd T20I: Rohit Sharma Wins Toss, Unchanged India To Bowl First At Rajkot

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to bowl first against Bangladesh in the 2nd T20I at the Saurashtra Cricket Stadium in Rajkot.

India will be locking horns with upbeat Bangladesh in the 2nd rubber of the 3-match T20 series at the Saurashtra Cricket Ground in Rajkot in a short while from now. The hosts are in a Do-or-Die situation to stay alive in the series after being handed an upset defeat by the visitors in the series opener at New Delhi. After the upset loss, skipper Rohit Sharma hinted at changes to the Indian team based on the conditions on offer at Rajkot. Bangladesh on the other hand would leave no stone turned to win the second encounter and clinch their first ever T20 international series against India. Toss Update: Indian skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to bowl first at the Saurashtra Cricket Stadium in Rajkot. India named an unchanged playing eleven for the encounter. Rohit: We're gonna field first. Looks a good pitch. Rajkot has always been a good pitch. I see some tracks there but this has always been a good surface. I also hear that there might be some dew later on, and that should help chasing. I'm aware of the stats but like I said, it gives us to do unusual things (regarding defending scores). But having said that, once you know what to chase, it's easier for batsmen. They know what tempo to go at. We're unchanged. I think didn't perform that badly in the last game. Mahmudullah: I don't think so (about toss being a factor). Pitch looks really hard, nice to bat on. I would have loved to bowl first too but now will want to put some runs on the board. It's a good oppportunity for all of us (to win the series). Need put all these thoughts aside and do the basics well. Important for the senior players to do well. Even the youngsters have done well. We're unchanged too. Here is the playing eleven for both the teams  India (Playing XI): Rohit Sharma(c), Shikhar Dhawan, Lokesh Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant(w), Shivam Dube, Krunal Pandya, Washington Sundar, Deepak Chahar, Yuzvendra Chahal, K Khaleel Ahmed Bangladesh (Playing XI): Liton Das, Mohammad Naim, Soumya Sarkar, Mushfiqur Rahim(w), Mahmudullah(c), Afif Hossain, Mosaddek Hossain, Aminul Islam, Shafiul Islam, Mustafizur Rahman, Al-Amin Hossain
