WTC Final 2023: Ashwin & Labuschagne's Dugout Exchange Sparks Hilarious Reactions On Social Media

A picture of R Ashwin and Marnus Labuschagne having a heartwarming off-the-field conversation in the Indian dugout went viral on social media. 

Rohit Sharma-led Indian team management decided to go ahead with four seamers in their playing XI for India vs Australia World Test Championship (WTC) Final 2023 match at the Oval cricket stadium in London, resulting in automatic emission of World's number one Test bowler Ravichandran Ashwin. India opted for just one spinner -- Ravindra Jadeja -- in their playing XI for WTC Final vs Australia. Ashwin's surprising omission from the Indian team left everyone surprised and made him one of the talking points on social media. During the first session of Day 2 of IND vs AUS WTC Final match, R Ashwin was spotted warming the bench and was indulged in a conversation with Aussie batting star Marnus Labuchagne. The picture of Ashwin and Labuschagne having a heartwarming off-the-field conversation in the Indian dugout went viral on social media.

 "Labu to Ash: Main captain hota toh apko zarur khilata," one Twitter user wrote. "Aussies are taking advice from world's no. 1 bolwer in," another Twitter user wrote.

Talking about the game, Australia posted a mammoth 469 total vs India with Mohammed Siraj taking the maximum four wickets on Day 2. In reply, India were off to a solid start only to be left reeling at 71/4. All four Indian batters got out after scoring between 13 to 35.
