Rohit Sharma-led Indian team management decided to go ahead with four seamers in their playing XI for India vs Australia World Test Championship (WTC) Final 2023 match at the Oval cricket stadium in London, resulting in automatic emission of World's number one Test bowler Ravichandran Ashwin. India opted for just one spinner -- Ravindra Jadeja -- in their playing XI for WTC Final vs Australia. Ashwin's surprising omission from the Indian team left everyone surprised and made him one of the talking points on social media. During the first session of Day 2 of IND vs AUS WTC Final match, R Ashwin was spotted warming the bench and was indulged in a conversation with Aussie batting star Marnus Labuchagne. "Labu to Ash: Main captain hota toh apko zarur khilata," one Twitter user wrote. "Aussies are taking advice from world's no. 1 bolwer in," another Twitter user wrote.
