IND vs AUS Perth Test Highlights: Records Shattered As Bowlers Steal The Show On Day 1

A total of 17 wickets fell on day 1 of Perth Test—a rare occurrence not seen in Australia since 1952.

The first Test of IND vs AUS Border-Gavaskar Test series began with an explosive start as fast bowlers dominated the opening day at Perth's Optus Stadium. After Team India decided to bat first, Australian pacers tore through their batting lineup, reducing them to just 150 runs.

However, India's fiery bowling attack, led by captain Jasprit Bumrah, staged a memorable fightback by dismantling hosts' top order. At stumps on day 1, Australia were reeling at 67/7, trailing India by 83 runs.
