England's star all-rounder Ben Stokes pulled off a stunning catch near the boundary to dismiss South African all-rounder Andile Phehlukwayo off the bowling off Adil Rashid. South African all-rounder Andile Phehlukwayo got tempted by a nicely flighted delivery from English spinner Adil Rashid and slog swept towards the mid wicket region, only to find Stokes pull off a spectacular catch out off thin air. Andile and the fans were awe struck for quite some time by Stokes sheer athleticism as the ball looked to cross the fence. Earlier in the match, when England were invited to bat first, South African skipper Faf Du Plessis pulled off a screamer to dismiss Moeen Ali. Batting first, England posted 311 on the board with some meaningfull contributions by Ben Stokes, Jason Roy, Eoin Morgan and Joe Root. Chasing a competiive total, South Africa dint start well with Jofra Archer denting their top order with double strikes. Quinton De Cock offered some resistance with a breezy fifty. Once England send De Cock back to the pavilion, their bowlers kept chipping in with wickets and eventually helped the host nation register a clinical win over the Proteas.
