MS Dhoni Named Captain, Rohit Sharma Left Out: Gautam Gambhir Unveils His All-Time Playing XI

Gautam Gambhir, the newly appointed head coach of the Indian cricket team and former star batsman, recently unveiled his all-time playing eleven. The veteran has excluded some prominent names, leaving fans astonished.

Gambhir has included MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli in his lineup. This selection has sparked considerable discussion among fans.

Rohit Sharma has long been a formidable opener for Team India, instilling fear in opposition bowlers with his powerful batting. However, in Gambhir's all-time playing eleven, he has been replaced by Virender Sehwag as the opening batsman.

He has also excluded current fast-bowling sensation Jasprit Bumrah from his lineup. Also, legendary players like Sunil Gavaskar and Kapil Dev have been overlooked in Gambhir's selection.

The India head coach has opted for former greats Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid to occupy the number three and four positions in his all-time playing eleven. He has placed his confidence in Virat Kohli and Yuvraj Singh for the number five and six spots.

Two-time World Cup winner MS Dhoni has been chosen as the wicketkeeper-batsman. Notably, Gambhir has overlooked legendary spinner Harbhajan Singh, instead selecting Anil Kumble and Ravichandran Ashwin as his spin bowlers.
