Eng vs WI 3rd Test, Day 2: Broad, Anderson Put England On Top; Windies 59/3 At Tea, Trail By 310 Runs
Windies are now in some serious trouble. At tea, the visitors were 59/3 and trailed England by 310 runs.
England 'best bowling attack' completely dominated the visitors as they took three wickets in the second session to restrict Windies to 59/3 at Tea and trailed England by 310 runs on Day 2 of the third Test at Old Trafford on Saturday.

For Windies, Kraigg Brathwaite and John Campbell came out in the middle to start the proceedings for their team. Stuart Broad followed up his heroic half-century with a wicket in his first over as opener Brathwaite edged the ball and was caught by Root behind the stumps for just one run.

England was looking for another quick wicket to put Windies under pressure and was about to succeed in their plan but, unfortunately, Ben Stokes dropped John Campbell at slip off James Anderson's delivery.
Broad and Anderson continued to tighten their grip on the Windies batsmen but failed to get a wicket after that dropped catch. Skipper Joe Root changed his bowlers from both ends and brought in Jofra Archer and Chris Woakes into the attack.
After losing an early wicket, Campbell and Hope tried to steady their ship but their plans were spoiled after Archer bowled a brilliant short-pitched delivery send Campbell back to the pavilion for 32 runs.

Windies brought up their fifty in 21 overs and required a big partnership to get themselves back into the game but soon after, veteran speedster Anderson bowled his trademark out-swinging delivery that took Shai Hope's outside edge and went straight to Buttler who completed a simple catch. Windies were now in some serious trouble at 58/3. At tea, they were 59/3 and trailed England by 310 runs.
