Champions Trophy 2025 Points Table: Updated Group A & B Standings After SA vs AFG Match In Karachi

Here's a look at the updated Champions Trophy 2025 points tables for both Group A and Group B after the South Africa vs Afghanistan match in Karachi on February 21 (Friday).

Champions Trophy 2025 Points Table: South Africa (SA) defeated Afghanistan (AFG) by 107 runs in the third match of the Champions Trophy 2025 on February 21 (Friday) at the National Stadium, Karachi. South African opening batter Ryan Rickelton was the standout player from the SA vs AFG match as his brilliant 103-run knock helped the Proteas reach a match-winning 315-run total.

While Rickelton’s innings won him the player of the match award, in the bowling department, Kagiso Rabada also delivered a massive impact as he claimed three wickets giving away just 36 runs in 8.3 overs.

Chasing 316 runs, Afghanistan could only manage 208 runs on the board before being bundled out. While the whole batting lineup could not cross the 20-run mark, Afghanistan’s Rahmat Shah scored a valiant 90-run knock off 92 balls.

New Zealand defeated Pakistan by a comprehensive 60-run margin to claim the first positione in the Group B points table. They have a net run rate (NRR) of a solid 1.2. India sit second with .408 NRR while Bangladesh and Pakistan, with no win to their names, stand third and fourth respectively.

In the Group B standings, South Africa lead with a dominant NRR of 2.14 and Afghanistan are positioned at last after their 107-run defeat on Friday. Australia and England are yet to play a match and will lock horns on Saturday.
