South African opening batter Ryan Rickelton was the standout player from the SA vs AFG match as his brilliant 103-run knock helped the Proteas reach a match-winning 315-run total.
While Rickelton’s innings won him the player of the match award, in the bowling department, Kagiso Rabada also delivered a massive impact as he claimed three wickets giving away just 36 runs in 8.3 overs.

Chasing 316 runs, Afghanistan could only manage 208 runs on the board before being bundled out. While the whole batting lineup could not cross the 20-run mark, Afghanistan’s Rahmat Shah scored a valiant 90-run knock off 92 balls.
