The first clash of the day witnessed the Sylhet Strikers defeating the Comilla Victorians by 12 runs. In the second game, the Rangpur Riders achieved a thrilling last-over victory in their chase against Fortune Barishal.
As of now, the Rangpur Riders lead the points table in the BPL 2024 with 18 points from nine wins in 11 matches, boasting the best net run rate of +1.649. Trailing closely are the Comilla Victorians with 14 points, having won seven out of their 10 fixtures but with a lower net run rate of +1.303.
Fortune Barishal occupy the third position with 12 points from six wins in 11 matches, accompanied by a net run rate of +0.434. The Chattogram Challengers share the same points but have a lower net run rate of -0.757. The Sylhet Strikers, with four wins in 11 games, have accumulated eight points and are placed sixth with a net run rate of -0.891.
