India vs Bangladesh 2nd Test is scheduled to take place in Kanpur, starting on September 27. There had been speculation about fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah being rested for the 2nd Test, but he will remain with the team.

There were rumors that KL Rahul could be dropped from India squad for IND vs BAN Kanpur Test after his lackluster performance in the series opener in Chennai. However, the team management has decided to give him another chance. Nonetheless, Sarfaraz Khan, who is in excellent form, may be preferred over Rahul for a spot in the playing XI.

India secures thumping win over Bangladesh in Chennai Test

Team India secured a commading win over Bangladesh in IND vs BAN 1st Test. They set Bangladesh an uphill target of 515 runs. The visitors were in a promising position at 194 for 4, but then their wickets began to fall steadily. Ultimately, they were bowled out by India for 234 runs.

Veteran Ravichandran Ashwin was the standout performer for India in the second innings, claiming six wickets. He dismissed Shadman Islam, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mominul Haq, Shakib Al Hasan, Mehdi Hasan Siraj, and Taskin Ahmed. Jasprit Bumrah also made a vital contribution, taking three wickets in the first session and helping to disrupt Bangladesh's innings.
