CWG 2022 Medal Tally: On the penultimate day of Birmingham Games 2022, India won 15 medals bettering its previous day's outing in terms of medal counts. With 55 medals -- 18 gold, 15 silver and 22 bronze -- India are currently at the fifth spot. India added 5 gold, 4 silver and 6 bronze medals on Day 10 of CWG 2022.
Day 10 Gold Medal Results - India At CWG 2022
Achanta Sharath Kamal and Sreeja Akula won the gold medal in the table tennis mixed doubles category. Three boxers - Nikhat Zareen (women's light flyweight), Amit Panghal (men's flyweight) and Nitu Ganghas (women's minimumweight) - also won their respective finals to bring gold home.
India won the top two medals in the men's triple jump, courtesy of Eldhose Paul (17.03m jump for gold) and Abdulla Aboobacker Narangolintevid (17.02 jump for silver) on the second last day of the CWG 2022.
Day 10 Results - India At CWG 2022
Shuttler Kidambi Srikanth won a bronze medal in the men's singles event of the badminton competition while the Indian women's doubles pair of Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand bagged the bronze medal.
Indian team won the silver medal in women's T20 cricket in Commonwealth Games 2022 after their loss to Australia in the final. Indian boxer Sagar Ahlawat also won a silver medal in the men's over 92kg category. Indian men's doubles pair of Achanta Sharath Kamal and G Sathiyan also won the silver medal.
Indian mixed doubles pair of Dipika Pallikal and Saurav Ghosal won bronze in the squash competition.
The women's hockey team also won their bronze medal play-off match on Day 10 of CWG 2022.
