In Hinduism, Karwa Chauth is regarded as the most significant festival for married women. This fast lasts from sunrise until the moonrise at night. Women adorn themselves with sixteen adornments and observe a waterless fast for the long life of their husbands, refraining from both food and water throughout the day.
At night, when the moon rises, women offer water to the moon and complete their fast, wishing for their husbands' long life. As evening approaches, women eagerly await the moon's appearance. However, this time, they won't have to wait long. The moon is expected to rise at 7:40 PM on Sunday, and it will be visible on time in major cities, including the capital, Lucknow.

In Prayagraj, the moon will also rise at 7:42 PM, and in Ayodhya, it will be visible at 7:38 PM. In Varanasi, the moon will rise at 7:32 PM. In Bareilly, it will appear at 7:46 PM, in Ghaziabad at 7:52 PM, and in Agra at 7:55 PM.
