Celebrate Sawan 2025 with a crunchy, high-energy Aloo Peanut Tikki. Perfect for fasting days, this vrat-friendly snack is delicious, easy to make, and full of nutrition.

As the sacred month of Sawan 2025 unfolds, all the devotees across India embrace spiritual fasting. Along with vibrant rituals, people look for sattvic meals that nourish the body and soul. Fasting during Sawan isn't about abstaining from regular food. It is actually about choosing the right ingredients that are wholesome, energy-boosting, and easy on the digestive system. One such delicious and highly satisfying fasting snack is Aloo Peanut Tikki. It is a crispy, protein-packed delight that is perfect for your vrat menu.

Why does Aloo Peanut Tikki work so well during fasts? For starters, boiled potatoes provide complex carbs that keep you full for longer, while roasted peanuts offer healthy fats and protein. This snack is ideal for maintaining stamina throughout the day. Add in a mix of vrat-friendly spices and herbs like sendha namak, cumin, green chillies, and coriander, and you have got a dish that’s not just flavourful, but also sattvic and guilt-free.

Whether you are observing a full day fast or following a partial one, this tikki is a versatile snack. It can be served as a mid day snack, a quick breakfast, or even light diner. It is a shallow fried dish with a crunchy exterior and soft inside. It can be enjoyed with a refreshing green chutney that is ideal for vrat or even plain curd.

The best thing about this vrat snack is that it does not require any fancy ingredients. This snack can be prepper in advance which makes it a smart choice for busy mornings or evening puja prasad platters. Apart from that, its texture and taste are so tempting that even those not fasting will want a bite.

So this Shravan, do not settle for bland vrat food. Spice up your fasting plate with these golden-brown Aloo Peanut Tikkis—a perfect blend of tradition and taste that keeps you energized and satisfied.
