According to a report on Friday, Germany plans to send seven Gepard tanks to Ukraine this spring that were destined for the scrap heap, joining the 30 currently being employed to battle the Russian army.

The Supreme Court Friday quashed the Kerala High Court order granting anticipatory bail to four people, including a former Director General of Police (DGP), in a case of alleged frame-up of scientist Nambi Narayanan in the 1994 ISRO espionage matter.A bench of Justices M R Shah and C T Ravikumar remanded the matter back to the high court and directed it to decide the issue within four weeks.

3)Centre Approves Major Road Reconstruction, Bridge Conversion Projects For Assam: CM

The Assam government has received approval from the Centre for re-construction of road network damaged in Dima Hasao district in this year’s flood and landslides, and for conversion of wooden bridges to concrete ones, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has said. He also said that construction of different road and bridges under various projects, including externally-helped ones, were on in full swing in the state.

Due to which the index of Mumbai Stock Exchange has fallen below 63000 and closed at 62,868 points with a fall of 415 points.
