IN PICS: 2 buildings reduce to rubble in Greater Noida, several dead; rescue operation underway

Locals have told us that the building that collapsed was constructed 2 years ago & many flats in it were not occupied

4 NDRF teams deployed to ensure rescue operations take place at fast pace/ ANI image

CM Yogi Adityanath has taken cognisance of the incident and has asked officials to ensure quick relief measures

Three people, including the builder have been arrested in connection with the incident

So far 3 dead bodies have been recovered and 2 people have been rescued alive/ ANI image

12 ambulances are present at the spot and all the hospitals nearby have been alerted. Dog squads are also present on the spot/ ANI image
