The Panchmukhi Doli Arrives: The sacred Panchmukhi Doli of Baba Kedarnath reached the temple amid chants, music, and deep devotion on 1st May, while the doors of the temple opened for the devotees on 2nd May. Carried from Ukhimath over a multi-day journey, the arrival of the Doli was greeted by thousands of pilgrims and temple priests with prayers, rituals, and showers of flowers, which reflected the faith and age-old traditions of this holy yatra. The Sacred Trek: The Kedarnath trek is a 16 kilometers long uphill journey from Gaurikund to the holy shrine. A Floral Welcome: As the temple reopened, it was adorned with 13 quintals of fresh flowers including marigolds and roses. The flowers intricately arranges around the entrance, pillars, and sanctum transformed the sacred shrine into a floral spectacle.
