The Aam Aadmi Party office in New Delhi was decked out in flowers and balloons, and party workers danced to drumbeats to celebrate the political group's new status as a national party on Tuesday. At DDU Marg, a large number of AAP leaders and employees congregated as party flags, patriotic songs, and yellow and blue balloons adorned the streets. At the celebrations, sweets were given out by other party members to a large number of female workers.

"This is the result of the hardwork and dedication of each and every party member. We are proud to be recognised as a national party. All our efforts have paid off," Seema Arya of AAP's women wing said. Arya, who has been a member of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) since 2013, stated that the party's attainment of national status in "such a short period of time" is a "matter of pride."
