'Gully Boy', which released in February 2019, raked in Rs 19.40 crore on its first day at the box office. Bollywood critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the first day box office collection of 'Gully Boy' on Twitter. Ranveer played the role of a corrupt police officer named Sangram Simmba Bhalerao in Rohit Shetty's 'Simmba'. The action film emerged as the biggest opener of Ranveer's career with a collection of Rs 20.72 crore on its first day at the box office.
