There are reports that the couple is gearing up to host a grand gathering to mark the new chapter in their lives.

Virat and Anushka joined the league of A-listers with their own luxurious holiday home in the picturesque coastal town.

Explaining his choice, Virat told Architectural Digest India, “Honestly, it’s the proximity to Mumbai. Here, we have a completely different world, a home away from the hustle and bustle of the city. With so much going on all the time, it’s nice to be away from the chaos, and Alibaug allows us to do that.”

Virat’s lavish villa is the creation of the globally renowned Stefan Antoni Olmesdahl Truen Architects (SAOTA), led by Phillippe Fouche.

Sprawling across a 10,000-square-foot plot, the four-bedroom retreat has been meticulously designed using natural materials like pristine stones, exotic Italian marbles, raw travertines, and Turkish limestones to create a timeless aesthetic.

The villa features high ceilings adorned with natural hardwood, creating a seamless harmony throughout the first floor.

The open layout and thoughtful architecture aim to maximize natural light, adding a vibrant energy to the space.

“The most interesting feature is the double-height cut-out ceiling in the living space, as it welcomes natural light. The more light… the better its energy,” Virat said in an interview with Architectural Digest last year.

Developed under the Avas Bespoke banner by Avas Living, the property is equipped with state-of-the-art technology integrated through the Avas app.

The app facilitates home automation with advanced features such as circadian lighting, gas leak detectors, and superior air and water filtration systems.
