Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Peanuts
  • 0.5 Cup Jaggery (grated, chopped)
  • 1 Tablespoon Ghee
  • 0.5 Teaspoon Cardamom Powder

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Take a pan and dry roast 1 cup of peanuts in it. Put the flame on low and wait for the peanuts to turn golden and aromatic.

Step 2

Once the peanuts are roasted, let them cool down. Them rub them to remove the skin.

Step 3

Blend the roasted peanuts in a mixer to form a coarse powder. Make sure that you do not over blend as it can lead to the release of oil.

Step 4

In the same pan, add jaggery and let it melt. Do this on low heat and wait for it to turn slightly sticky. You can also add a teaspoon of water if required.

Step 5

Add the ground peanuts and cardamom powder to the melted jaggery and mix it well.

Step 6

While the mixture is warm, rub little ghee to your hands and roll it into small portions to make ladoos.

Step 7

Let the ladoos cool down and then store them in an airtight container.
