Supermodel Robot, Capable Of Human Emotions To Serve Coffee To Customers In Dubai
The cafe will be open 24 hours and employ a lifelike robot modelled after the Eastern European model, Diana Gabdullina to serve customers.
Technical advancements have brought a lot of changes in our-day-today lives. Robots are fast replacing humans at various levels of work. They are not only confined to factories as machines but have also entered cafes and offices. A cafe is going to open in Dubai in 2023 that will be operated without the help of human beings.
Dubai’s Donna Cyber-Cafe will be the first cafe in the world to be completely run without the help of humans. It will be open 24 hours and will employ a lifelike robot modelled after the Eastern European model, Diana Gabdullina to serve customers. There will also be a number of self-serve ice cream machines and coffee operated by robot arms. Customers will be required to pay at a self-service terminal, reported The Times of India.
The supermodel robot will also have the capability to understand human emotions and indulge in real conversations with people present at the cafe. It can also walk like human beings.

Though the location of the Donna Cyber-Cafe is unknown, UAE plans to open more such cafes in the country. According to the developers RDI Robotics, the components for the robot are imported from Russia and is Known as the Robo-C2, reported The Time of India.
The company describes the robot as ‘easygoing, feminine’ that can be a ‘little ironic’ while also being a cashier and a responsible employee of the cafe. The robot is also capable of remembering customers and storing information relating to the cafe and the company.
In order to make the robot look like human, the company, RDI Robotics has used silicone skin and realistic eyes.
