West’s wife, Kim Kardashian, did not appear to be supporting her husband. She has given no public endorsements of her husband and on Tuesday she retweeted a message about voter hotlines from Democratic Vice-Presidential Contender Kamala Harris. Kanye West was a staunch Trump supporter but on July 4th, 2020 he announced his 2020 United States presidential election campaign through Twitter. On November 4th, 2020 he suspended his campaign, the morning after Election Day after he received around 50,000 votes, which wasn’t enough compared to his to contenders Democratic Candidate Joe Biden and Republican President Donald Trump. West has qualified for ballot access in 12 states. According to an HT report, West loaned $6.7 million to his campaign, according to a filing with the Federal Election Commission, and in a recent video emphasized religion and family values. In a recent tweet, he posted a picture of himself in front of an electoral map saying "WELP KANYE 2024."I can’t wait for @kanyewest to tweet that god wants him to be the leader of the world in 2024. That would actually be jokes.
