US Elections 2020: Joe Biden Continued His Address Despite Pouring Rain, Netizens Reminisce Obama's Rain Rally

Social media hailed Joe Biden for continuing with his election rally in Florida despite continuous rain.

With 3 days ahead of the US Elections 2020, both the presidential candidates have been trying to woo the voters in their rallies. US President Donald Trump and Joe Biden took to holding rallies in Florida.

Campaigning hours apart in Florida, a state all but essential to the Republican’s pathway to another term, both candidates urged supporters to get to polling places in person, even as a tropical storm interrupted early voting in the Southeast.

While both campaigned in the same area, Joe Biden seemed to have won the hearts of the American residents after he continued his rally in the heavy downpour. Several videos started doing rounds on social media which showed Biden continued to talk in the rain before officials asked him to wrap it up - and people couldn't get enough, with several pointing out that he's a leader "unafraid" to get his hair wet. Some even compared him to former US President Barack Obama who also held a rally in the rain 12 years ago. Biden too, used the rain to his advantage, posting a photo on Twitter, captioning it: 'This storm will pass, and a new day will come.'
