Trump To Visit Pakistan? White House Reacts To Media Reports

The White House has denied media reports claiming President Donald Trump plans to visit Pakistan, confirming no such trip is scheduled. Trump will instead travel to Scotland and the UK this fall.

The White House on Friday dismissed reports circulating in Pakistani media that claimed U.S. President Donald Trump was scheduled to visit Pakistan in September.

“A trip to Pakistan has not been scheduled at this time,” a White House official confirmed to ANI, refuting claims aired earlier by several Pakistani news channels.

Local media in Pakistan had reported that Trump would visit Islamabad in September and then travel to India. However, the reports were later retracted, as confirmed by Dawn. Pakistan’s Foreign Office also denied any knowledge of such plans. “We have no information about this matter,” said spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan.

If such a visit had occurred, it would have been the first by a U.S. president to Pakistan since George W. Bush’s trip in 2006.

Meanwhile, the White House has confirmed President Trump's upcoming international travel schedule. According to Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, Trump will visit Scotland from July 25 to July 29, making stops in Turnberry and Aberdeen. During this trip, he is expected to hold trade talks with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

Additionally, Trump and First Lady Melania will make an official state visit to the United Kingdom from September 17 to 19. As part of the visit, they will meet King Charles at Windsor Castle. This will mark Trump’s second state visit to the UK — an unusual and symbolic diplomatic gesture.
