Pak: PTI chief Imran Khan snared in 'love-child' controversy ahead of elections
As per reports,Imran Khan has admitted on being a father to Tyrian White, the daughter of late British socialite Sita White.
New Delhi: Another obstacle seems to have arrived in the way of PTI’s PM candidate for the upcoming Pakistan general elections Imran Khan, as he has been accused of allegedly having a ‘child’ outside wedlock.
The PTI Chief has been snared in fresh controversy with reports about his “love-child” doing rounds in the local media.
As per reports,Imran Khan has admitted on being a father to Tyrian White, the daughter of late British socialite Sita White. He has been accused of admitting this in abroad but refusing the same in Pakistan.
Tyrian is reportedly 26 years old.
Former Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry stated that he will file a case against PTI chief Imran Khan’s ability to hold public office under Article 62 (1)(f) over allegations that he fathered a “love child”.
As per Article 62 in the constitution, the candidate should be of a decent character, yet the fact of Imran khan having a love child violates the ethics of constitution.
As per media reports , a California court had declared in 1997 that Khan was the father after he failed to contest a paternity suit filed by Sita. Khan had also reportedly refused to provide DNA samples to disprove paternity.
