Toronto mass shooting: Child among 2 killed, 13 injured; gunman dead

Toronto police say 14people have been shot and the shooter is dead after a gunman opened fire. The condition of the victims is not known yet and said a young girl is one of the victims.

Toronto: In the downtown Toronto neighbourhood known as Greektown, Canadian police and emergency personnel services are responding to a shooting that reportedly involves multiple victims. AFP updated that two were killed while 13 people were injured in the mass shooting. The shooter is dead after a gunman opened fire. The condition of the victims is not known yet and said a young girl is one of the victims. The police also says that it is too early to say if this was an act of terrorism or not. Reports on social media say as many as 15 to 20 gunshots were heard Local television station CP24 claims that multiple ambulances are present at the location. First responders are also present at the scene and with several people being treated by paramedics. More details of the shooting awaited.
