Late-Night Shooting In US's Memphis Leaves 1 Dead, 10 Injured

One person was murdered and ten were injured early Sunday after a pair of gunshots in Tennessee that authorities suspect are linked, according to a press release sent on Twitter by the Memphis Police Department, news agency Associated Press (AP) reported.

In private automobiles, five additional casualties arrived in non-critical condition at surrounding hospitals.
Officers heard of other shooting victims at a neighbouring location while at the Live Club site.
There, authorities discovered a deceased male victim and three other victims who were rushed to a hospital in severe condition.
Police were called to a second incident approximately a mile away while they were on the scene. According to authorities, one male victim was pronounced dead at the site, while three other victims were rushed to the hospital in serious condition.
Investigators are unsure what prompted the shooting or if the perpetrator knew the victims. They do not yet have a clear picture of the shooter or shooters. Anybody with information is requested to contact 901-528-CASH.
Earlier this month, a shooting incident occurred at Cielo Vista Mall. Later, authorities stated that hours after the gunfire that two people had been taken into custody.
The two suspects detained following the shooting, according to Pacillas, were both men, as were all the victims.
Wednesday’s shooting at the Cielo Vista Mall happened in a busy shopping area and across a large parking lot from a Walmart store where a gunman killed 23 people on August 3, 2019.
