Cristiano Ronaldo's $2.1 Million Supercar Bugatti Veyron Crashes In Spain: Report

Cristiano Ronaldo was reportedly not inside the car and it was being driven by one of his bodyguards. The car crashed into a house in the Spanish city of Majorca.

A supercar belonging to Portuguese football great Cristiano Ronaldo, which costs around $2.1 million, crashed into a house in the Spanish city of Majorca on Monday, according to a report in Latin Times. Ronaldo was reportedly not inside the car, a Bugatti Veyron, and it was being driven by one of his bodyguards.

The driver allegedly lost control and glided into a wall in the residential estate of Sa Coma, Bunyola, Palma de Majorca, where the Manchester United striker is currently on a holiday with his family. The Bugatti Veyron was reportedly one of two luxury cars that Ronaldo had shipped to the island for the holiday.

The report said the car crashed into the door of a country house and a butane bottle booth. While the driver of the car did not suffer any injuries, the front of the million-dollar supercar is said to have been wrecked.

Investigators confirmed no other vehicle was involved. A probe has also been launched to ascertain the reason behind the sudden crash.

The footballer, along with his five kids and girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez, reached Majorco for a vacation on June 14. Ronaldo is reportedly staying in a luxury home at the foot of the Tramuntana Mountains. The villa has its own gym, pool surrounded by palm trees, multiple jacuzzis, a beach volleyball court and a mini-football pitch, Latin Times reported.

After the vacation, Cristiano Ronaldo will be heading back to England and join Manchester United's pre-season training under new manager Erik Ten Hag.
