Wayanad (Kerala): Congress leader Rahul Gandhi celebrated Easter Sunday by having lunch with the children at Jeevan Jyothi Children’s Home in Kalpetta city of his parliamentary constituency Wayanad in poll-bound Kerala.
He was joined by his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra at the Easter Sunday lunch through a video call during which she interacted with the children present on the occasion.

The Wayanad MP, who earlier offered prayers at the Thiruneli temple in Wayanad, also wished the people on Easter on micro-blogging platform Twitter.

Gandhi’s lunch with the children comes just days ahead of voting for the Kerala Assembly polls and the former Congress president is leaving no stones unturned to reach out to the voters.

The Congress leader had last month turned Aikido coach during interaction with the students on his visit to St. Teresa’s College in Kochi. He had earlier showed off his swimming skills and his stamina to perform one-handed push-ups.
Voting for the 140-member Kerala Assembly will be held on April 6 and the results will be declared on May 2.
