New Delhi: Today in Viral Sach, ABP News is investigating the truth of a video in which a woman who hails from UP’s Unnao is seen crying her eyes out.
The video features a woman named Mamta along with her 3-year-old daughter who is appealing Indian government to bring back her husband Pawan, stranded in Arab’s Kuwait since last 3 years.
The video was sent by Arun Vishwakarma to us.
Mamta claims that Pawan’s passport and visa has been seized by the owner of a laundary house in which her husband was working. According to Mamta, the employer Sheikh has accused her husband of theft and threatened him of sending behind the bars. The Indian embassy in Kuwait could not help Pawan when he reached there as he had no passport or visa with him.
The woman also wrote letters to PM and External Affairs Minister seeking help for her stranded husband but she did not get any reply from them. However when ABP news asked Mamta for the proof of those letters, she denied having photocopy.
To investigate the whole matter ABP News contacted the city magistrate Shankar Mukherjee. Shankar confirmed the report and said the issue has been transferred to Uttar Pradesh’s chief secretary.
