TN CM Mk Stalin Meets PM Modi, Discusses Agri Laws, Education Policies
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin today met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the national capital.
New Delhi: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin today met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the national capital. The CM also discussed various welfare measures to be initiated in the state and asked for allocation of funds to implement the welfare schemes.
"The meeting with PM Modi was satisfactory. PM assured cooperation and assistance to the state for development. He also assured me that I can contact him at any time regarding the issues of Tamil Nadu," CM MK Stalin said in Delhi.
"Issues like withdrawal of 3 agricultural laws, scrapping of NEET and New Education Policy, early commencement of vaccine production of Chengalpattu complex, and revival of Sethusamudram project were also raised by me during the meeting with PM Modi," the CM he added.
During his visit in Delhi Mr. Stalin will also be meeting DMK alliance party leaders, Congress President and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, CPI and CPI(M) leaders.
