New Delhi: A Russian intelligence official has claimed that President Vladimir Putin has been given three years to live because he has "rapidly progressing cancer". An official of the FSB (Russian Federal Security Service) has claimed that 69-year-old Putin is also losing his eyesight. This information comes amid speculation that Putin's health is deteriorating rapidly. However, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Sunday rubbished speculation that President Putin was ill, saying there were no signs indicating any illness.
An Independent report further said that the FSB official gave the latest information about Putin's health in a message to Boris Karpichkov, a former Russian spy living in Britain.
"We are told he is suffering from headaches and when he appears on TV he needs pieces of paper with everything written in huge letters to read what he's going to say. They are so big each page can only hold a couple of sentences. His eyesight is seriously worsening," according to a part of the message released by news.com.au.
