Ramesh Pokhriyal Corona Positive: Union Education Minister Tests Positive For Covid-19

The Union Education Minister shared his health update through a tweet as he wrote, "I am taking medication and treatment as per the advice of my doctors."

Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on Wednesday informed that he has tested Coronavirus positive. "This is to inform you all that I have tested COVID positive today," he wrote on Twitter.

The Union Education Minister shared his health update through a tweet as he wrote, "I am taking medication and treatment as per the advice of my doctors."

The Coronavirus cases have seen a rapid spurt in the country in the past few weeks. In the national capital Delhi, 28395 people were infected with the dreaded virus on Tuesday and 277 patients died. Recently, Union Ministers Jitendra Singh, Kiran Rijiju, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Anand Sharma have also been infected with Coronavirus.
