Pakistani Boat Found Near India-Pakistan Border In Amritsar, Security Agencies On High Alert
A Pakistani boat was recovered near Amritsar border amid heightened India-Pakistan tensions post-Pahalgam attack and Operation Sindoor; investigation and border surveillance intensified.

A Pakistani engine-powered boat has been recovered near the Border Outpost (BOP) Riyad Kakkar, situated along the India-Pakistan border. The boat was discovered stuck in the "Fentoon bridge built by the army" on the Ravi River and has since been brought safely to shore by Indian security forces. The incident occurred near the Lopoke police station jurisdiction, and the boat is currently under thorough investigation by the concerned agencies.
This recovery comes amid heightened tensions between India and Pakistan following the deadly terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, on April 22. In that attack, 26 tourists were brutally murdered after being asked their names, including one Nepali national. The gruesome nature of the attack prompted strong retaliatory measures from India.
