New Delhi, July 23: Reliance Industries Chairperson Mukesh Ambani, whose company has garnered a lot of investors’ interest, has made it to the list of top five world’s richest man with a net worth of Rs $74.7 billion (Rs 5.572 lakh crore). Both of them have slipped in the latest ranking. Ambani has seen a spate of investments in the digital business arm, Reliance’s Jio Platforms, and shares of RIL have almost doubled since hitting a low in March. The company received investments from the world’s largest firms such as Google, Facebook and Intel, as well as sovereign wealth funds from Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia, firms like KKR, Silver Lake Partners and more.  The industrialist also stated that RIL had become “zero net debt” even before the target at the shareholder meeting in 2019. Here are the top five leaders who have once again achieved the feat with their attractive net worth. 1. Jeff Bezos Amazon Chief Executive Officer Jeff Bezos is the richest person in the world, with a net worth of $185.8 billion (Rs 13.8 lakh crore). Early this week on Monday, the Bloomberg Billionaires Index has put Bezos’ estimated net worth at $189.3 billion. Bezos, witnessed the highest one-day spike in his net worth after Amazon stock surged during the day. 2. Bill Gates Microsoft founder Bill Gates holds the second position with $113.1 billion (Rs 8.43 lakh crore) of net worth. 3. Louis Vuitton SE Chairperson Bernard Arnault The third position is occupied by Louis Vuitton SE Chairperson Bernard Arnault and his family, with a net worth of $112 billion (Rs 8.38 lakh crore). 4. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg The youngest Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg retains the fourth slot with a fortune of $89 billion (Rs 6.66 lakh crore). Other business leaders in the list are followed by Larry Ellison, Oracle (sixth) Elon Musk, Spacex, (seventh) Warren Buffet, Berkshire Hathaway, (eight) Steve Ballmer, Microsoft, (ninth) Larry Page, Google (10th). The “Real Time Billionaires List” is taken out by the US-based business magazine Forbes. It is based on the value of the person’s stock holding and assets on a real time basis.
