Mahindra TUV300 Plus Launched At Rs Rs 9.47 lakh

Powered by the Scorpio’s 2.2-litre mHawk engine, the nine-seater TUV300 Plus is an extended version of the regular, sub-4m TUV300

Mahindra has officially launched the extended version of the TUV300 christened, the TUV300 Plus. Priced at Rs 9.47 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai) for the base variant, the TUV300 Plus is available in three variants: P4, P6 and P8 (prices of the top variants are not available right now). Compared the TUV300, which is powered by a 1.5-litre 3-cylinder diesel (100PS/240Nm), the TUV300 Plus comes with Mahindra’s 2.2-litre 4-cylinder diesel that puts out 120PS and 320Nm, same as the lower variants of the Scorpio facelift. While the TUV300 is available with a 5-speed manual/AMT (automated-manual transmission), the TUV300 comes with a standard 6-speed manual. Since the TUV300 Plus borrows the engine from the Scorpio, it gets Mahindra’s 'micro-hybrid' tech along with brake energy regeneration, which is not on offer on the smaller TUV. The range-topping TUV300 Plus T8 borrows features from the TUV300 T10 such as faux leather upholstery and 7-inch infotainment system with built-in navigation. Mahindra itself is coming up with another MPV to rival the Ertiga. Read more about it here.
