After Son Aaditya, Maharashtra CM's Wife Rashmi Thackeray Tests Covid-19 Positive
Rashmi Thackeray COVID-19 Positive: Rashmi's COVID-19 test came out positive on Monday night following which she has been quarantined at CM's official bungalow Varsha.
Days after Maharashtra Minister Aditya Thackeray tested COVID-19 positive, his mother and Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray's wife Rashmi Thackeray was also found to be infected with the novel Coronavirus.
According to reports, Rashmi's COVID-19 test came out positive on Monday night following which she has been quarantined at CM's official bungalow Varsha. The entry to the official residence is likely to be restricted and important meetings will be scheduled and all Covid protocols will be followed. The Chief Minister is likely to attend the cabinet meetings virtually.

It is to be noted that Rashmi Thackeray along with the CM had taken the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine at JJ hospital earlier this month on March 11.
The development has come after Maharashtra state tourism minister Aditya Thackeray had tested positive for COVID-19 on Saturday (March 20).
Taking to his Twitter, Aditya made the announcement stating that he tested positive with mild Covid-19 symptoms and urged everyone who came in contact with me to get themselves tested.
"On having mild symptoms of COVID, I had myself tested and I am COVID positive. I request everyone who came in contact with me to get themselves tested. I urge everyone to realise that it is extremely important to not let your guard down. Please follow COVID protocols & stay safe," he tweeted.

Meanwhile, Maharashtra continues to be worst hit state as it recorded about 28,699 new cases on Tuesday with least 132 COVID-19 deaths, taking the case fatality rate to 2.12 percent.
