Delhi: Amid the ongoing cold wave, rain lashed Delhi on Friday morning, further affecting temperatures in the capital. The temperature in Delhi was 13 degrees Celsius around 7:20 am on Friday. The IMD has predicted heavy rainfall and strong winds on December 27-28.The minimum temperature in Delhi on Friday is expected to settle at 12 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature during the day is likely to be around 20 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperature in Noida today is likely to be around 14 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature may reach 24 degrees Celsius. The wind speed will be around 4.68. Sunrise time is 07:11 and sunset time is 05:31 on Friday.
Heavy rains are likely over Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, western Uttar Pradesh, eastern Rajasthan and western Madhya Pradesh on December 27.
Thunderstorms accompanied by hail are also likely over southeastern Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, eastern Rajasthan, Vidarbha, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh on December 27 and 28. Parts of Himachal Pradesh are very likely to experience cold or very cold weather on December 27 and 28.
Dense or very dense fog is very likely in parts of Rajasthan during the late night and early morning hours from December 27 to 29.
Frost on the ground is likely in parts of Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura on December 27.

Cold wave conditions persists in Rajasthan, rain in some parts of state
Rajasthan remained in the grip of cold conditions as light to moderate rain occurred at many places in the state due to a western disturbance, the meteorological department said.Several areas including Sikar, Ajmer, Jhunjhunu, Nagaur, Churu and Hanumangarh districts received rain the the last 24 hours, it said.
According to the weather office dense fog also prevailed across many parts of the state on Friday affecting visibility.The lowest minimum temperature of 5.4 degrees Celsius was recorded in Churu. Night temperatures increased slightly and ranged between 5.4 degree Celsius in Churu and 17.2 degrees Celsius in Vanasthali, the weather department said.
Delhi Rains: Delhi NCR recieves heavy rainfall on Friday, More rains predicted
Delhi and the whole NCR recieves mild to heave showers today, and the India Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rain with hailstrom in the upcoiming days. Safdargunj area in Delhi registered 18.4 mm rains today, whereas Palam and Lodi Road recorded 21 mm and 21.4 mm.
