"Similar To What Nazis Did" HD Kumaraswamy Slams RSS For Marking Ram Temple Donors Houses

"I don’t know where these developments, which are being witnessed in India, take us finally." wonders HD Kumaraswamy, JD(S) leader wonders in his recent tweet thread which compared RSS to the Nazis.

New Delhi: In a recent thread of tweets, JD(S) leader and Former Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy alleged that RSS marking houses of Ram temple donors and non-donors separately is similar to was Nazis did during Hitler's regime in Germany.

In the tweets the JD(S) leader claimed that the RSS was formed in India around the time Nazi Party was founded in Germany. He added "There are concerns on what will happen if the RSS tries to implement similar policies adopted by Nazis."

According to  a PTI report, RSS dismissed the allegations, saying the comments do not qualify for any response. RSS media-incharge E S Pradeep said, "Kumaraswamy's comments do not qualify for any response."

Kumaraswamy, quoted historians and claimed RSS took birth at the same time when the Nazi Party was founded in Germany. He added that the there is an undeclared emergency in the country where people cannot freely express their views. He said "A situation has been created where nobody can share their feelings. I do not know what will happen if media upholds the government’s views in the coming days. In such a situation it is difficult to guess what would be the fate of common man."

A nationwide fund drive for the construction Ram Mandir at Ayodhya kicked off in January after President Ram Nath Kovind donated  Rs 5 lakh and one hundred. The first phase of the drive ended on Jan 31, which focused on reaching out to eminent people who have been identified by its local cadre. The second phase of the campaign, which involves reaching out to the mass, was to start in February 1 and end on February 27, as per Hindustan Times report.

Akshay Kumar took to his social media and shared a video revealing that he had donated his share for the construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. The ‘BellBottom’ actor further urged his fans to contribute their share in the construction of the ‘historic, grand temple’.
