Indian Railways Drive At Its Maximum Speed To Provide 100 Army Soldiers Extra Time To Board Luggage

On the special request made by the military forces, the operating department of Ranchi Rail Division strategically planned to deliver the Rajdhani train from Ranchi to Barkakana ahead of schedule.

On the appeal of the Indian Army, the Ranchi Rail Division in its humble gesture drove at its maximum speed to provide soldiers additional time to board their luggage on the trains. For some reason, it it seemed difficult to move to Ranchi hence, the army men chose Barkakana as it is comparatively closer. However, the train halts for merely five minutes at the said station which seemed difficult for the soldiers to board their luggage in the short time. On the special request made by the military forces, the operating department of Ranchi Rail Division strategically planned to deliver the Rajdhani train from Ranchi to Barkakana ahead of schedule. Using the maximum speed of Rajdhani train, the train reached Barkakana station at 7.08 pm, which is 17 minutes ahead of the scheduled time. 'Always Committed To Fulfill Requirements Of Our Military Forces': Indian Railways Sharing the incident, the Ministry of Railways on Tuesday took to its official Twitter account saying, "The Indian Railways, at the request of the army, drove the Rajdhani Express train at its maximum speed, and reached the station 17 minutes ahead of the scheduled time, to provide additional time for the jawans and their luggage to board."
