Welcome 2024: India Rings In New Year With Festive Fervour And Hope

From churches to dargahs, from temples to gurdwaras, people flocked to places of worship on the last day of the year to offer prayers with friends and family.

New Delhi: As we step into the new year with a myriad of fresh beginnings, resolutions, and a whole lot of goals, people celebrate the day in their own way- from visiting holy places to traveling with their loved ones. Individuals across different states of India embraced the beginning of the year in unique and diverse ways.

From churches to dargahs, from temples to gurdwaras, people flocked to places of worship on the last day of the year to offer prayers with friends and family.

To celebrate the occasion, Rashtrapati Bhavan, North, and South Block were illuminated with colourful lights. The video of the beautifully decorated buildings was shared by ANI.

ANI also shared drone visuals of winter carnival and New Year Celebrations from Kullu in Himachal Pradesh. Himachal Pradesh CM Sukvinder Singh Sukhu also participated in the New Year’s Eve celebration at Mall Road in Shimla.

New Year’s Eve celebration was also observed in Jammu & Kashmir's Gulmarg on Sunday.

In another video shared by ANI, Thailand was seen celebrating the beginning of New Year 2024 with dazzling fireworks in Bangkok.

Amid the celebrations, let's all wish for a happy and prosperous New Year full of joy and happiness.
