TV actress Reena Kapoor not worried about her US stay after Trump's victory

New Delhi: After "Shakti…Astitva Ke Ehsaas Kii", Reena Kapoor is going to the US for a short period to be with her husband. The actress says while she is not jittery about her stay in America after Donald Trump won the US Presidential election, she is disappointed by his triumph. "I am not jittery about how our stay in the US will be. The reason being that we don't have an intention of settling down in the US. But yes, I am disappointed," Reena told IANS over phone from Mumbai. She added: "In general whatever, I have been reading in the news and the personality he comes across, I was hoping if Hillary Clinton became the President, things would be a little better." Reena requested the makers of the Colors' show to accommodate her exit as she had to leave with her husband for the US. The actress will be leaving for the US in December, and will be "back before December next year". The actress, who was noticed for "Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki", says the makers were very cooperative, and understood her plight. "I am not really shifting my base, but just going there for eight to ten months. My husband was supposed to go alone and I was supposed to be here and continue my show, but as the time was passing and his time of going was coming, I started getting a little lonely as I have not stayed away from my husband for a long time. The makers were cooperative seeing my side of the story," she said. Reena hopes to come back soon, and is eager to take up exciting projects.
