Tragic: Girl dies after falling from seventh floor during mountaineering camp in Jaipur
Aditi, resident of city's Bapunagar area, was a pursuing a course in mountaineering. Her father, Sunil Sanghi, is also a mountaineering instructor who trains young students in hill-climbing.
JAIPUR: In a tragic incident during a mountaineering camp, a girl on Monday died after falling from seventh floor in Jaipur.
Aditi Sanghi was trying to climb college's building as a part of a training session during a mountaineering camp organised in the International College for Girls (ICG) here. The girls, standing on the rooftop, were descending on the zip-line one after another. As the rope slipped from Aditi's hands, she fell from the seven-storey building.
The girl was later taken to the nearby city metro hospital where she scummed to injuries she sustained during the mishap.
Aditi, resident of city's Bapunagar area, was a pursuing a course in mountaineering. Her father, Sunil Sanghi, is also a mountaineering instructor who trains young students in hill-climbing.
When the incident took place, Sunil with his team was instructing a group of trainees including her daughter Aditi.
Police has started investigation in the incident. Aditi's father in his statement said it was an accident.
A video showing the girl falling from the rooftop has gone viral on social media.
