Atishi, AAP MLA From Delhi's Kalkaji, Tests Positive For Coronavirus; Goes Into Home Quarantine
Atishi is the third MLA from Aam Aadmi Party to get infected by the deadly Coronavirus. Earlier, Vishesh Ravi from Karol Bagh and Rajkumar Anand from Patel Nagar area had also tested postive for the Coronavirus.
New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA from Kalkaji, Atishi has tested positive for the novel Coronavirus. The 39-year-old AAP representative had complained of mild fever on Tuesday after which she underwent medical tests for Coronavirus. As per the reports, Atishi is under home quarantine after the test reports on Wednesday declared her to be COVID-19 positive. As soon as the news broke out, Delhi Chief Minister and AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal extended his best wishes to the MLA for her fast recovery. Taking to his official Twitter account, Chief Minister said, "Atishi ji has played an important role in the fight against corona. I hope that she will get healthy soon and again get involved in serving the people."
Besides Kejriwal, Delhi's Greater Kailash MLA Saurabh Bharadwaj also expressed his concerns and blessing to the unwell Atishi. Saurabh Tweeted: "Get well soon Atishi and Akshay Marathe, recover soon from corona".

Yesterday, Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain was also admitted to a hospital in Delhi after he complained of high fever and breathing trouble last night.
As per inputs received, he underwent the COVID-19 and fortunately tested negative for the coronavirust. Jain was admitted to Rajiv Gandhi Super Speciality Hospital in the national capital.
As of now, there are 26,351 active cases in Delhi, With this, the total tally for the Coronavirus cases in the national capital has been pushed to 44,688.
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare's daily bulletin suggests that as many as 16,500 COVID-19 patients have been recovered and discharged from hospitals while 1,837 people have lost their lives to the deadly disease.
